According to SMM survey data, the opening rate of brass bar enterprises in October was 66.61%, and the opening rate of brass bar enterprises in October showed a downward trend compared with last year. According to SMM research, most brass rod enterprises are pessimistic about future consumption. At present, enterprises are in the stage of de-inventory and are not enthusiastic about the reserve at the end of the year. In addition, at the end of the year, enterprises began to carry out capital accounting, and production funds were relatively tightened. The pace of production is expected to remain slow, leading to a low start rate in November.

Sample distribution

According to the distribution of brass bar industry in China, nearly 60% are in East China and less than 30% in South China market, which can be seen as a very concentrated industry in East China, mainly in Taizhou and Shaoxing, Ningbo in Zhejiang Province, Shangrao and Yingtan in Jiangxi Province, Taizhou and Shaoxing in Zhejiang Province, Shangrao and Yingtan in Jiangxi Province, and Taizhou and Shaoxing in Zhejiang Province. Anhui Tongling, Huangshan and other places are represented, while Foshan and Jiangmen are the main distribution centers in South China. According to its regional distribution in China, SMM collects market information according to small and medium-sized samples in the main distribution centers as far as possible, so that its samples are more reasonable and can reflect the market dynamics more truly.
